Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Pipe Spool Drawing Checker to be an integral part of our team. This position is a permanent project supporting Epic Piping.  The selected individual will be employed and paid by a third party.

 WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Familiarity with client project scope and specifications.
• Check pipe spool drawings used for fabrication by shop against client drawings, scope, and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability, mark-up errors, and re-check corrections made by drafter before being released to shop for fabrication.
• Familiar with and utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines. Understand shop methods used in the fabrication of pipe spool
•  Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Self-Motivated - Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
• Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Good technical knowledge in piping detail engineering. Review Piping Isometric and Spool drawing.
• Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
• Organized - Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
• Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
• Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
• Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely. Familiar with ACAD application

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 Years in Piping Design Engineering
• Academic Education Engineering
• Fluency in English is Mandatory
