POSITION SUMMARY

Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of clerical personnel in the Material Issuing and Material Receiving 

Departments.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Assesses daily workload of the department and delegates duties/tasks to other team members in the 

department, accordingly.

• Supervises the Material Issuing & Material Receiving departments, as well as consumables.

• Oversees that MDR’s are being written, logged, and resolved accurately.

• Responsible for cross training all office personnel within the department.

• Sorts through any material issues experienced within the department.

• Assists QA/QC department with clearing items in the quarantine area.

• Coordinate’s customer furnished material with material control that is used for the creation of purchase 

orders.

• Works closely with Project Mangers to resolve issues with customer furnished material; other team 

members in the department to resolve issues with spools that are on hold; and accounts payable to 

resolve issues with billing.

• Assists material handlers/other team members in the department with any issues or questions pertaining 

to material being checked in.

• Sends out proof of deliveries to clients on customer furnished material.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: 

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Preferred 

Experience: 

- 5+ years of experience in Materials Management/ Project Management 

Computer Skills: 

- Microsoft office 

- JD Edwards
