Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for a Material Control Technician to be an integral part of our Corporate team.  WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Transmit inventory releases to fabrication shops
• Perform material take-offs from isometrics or run IDF/PCF files for obtain a bill of material extract
• Perform various checks to ensure accuracy
• Build and maintain project specifications in drafting software in accordance with project documentation
• Associate transfer requisitions with inventory transfers or submit requisitions for non-transferable material
• Process revision spools from engineering
• Process new spool releases from engineering when necessary
• Release spools short to the fabrication shop
• Perform short report actions
• Perform substitutions in J.D Edwards and redline sketches to show the change
• Create ship loose spools

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Education:  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: 0-1 Year of Relevant Experience
• Computer Skills: Software proficiency - MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook. Familiarity with office productivity tools and collaboration platforms like teams and SharePoint. Ability to learn and adapt to specialized software used in company operations.
• Certification/Licenses: None required
• Other Requirements:  Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Demonstrates ability to allocate time effectively to complete tasks and projects ensuring high quality results within required timelines
